The club was founded in 1928 and hopefully we look forward to celebrating our Centenary Year in 2028.

We are a friendly fully inclusive club made up of various member categories to enjoy the sports of bowls and tennis, whilst offering up other activities for members, families and guests to enjoy including a recently added young children’s play area.

We house a fully stocked bar, have facilities to play pool, table tennis, carpet bowls and darts.  The clubhouse itself has in the past and continues, to be used for various meetings and clubs e.g., Yoga classes, local community meetings, parent and toddler classes and other activities.

We also have a beer garden which can be enjoyed during the summer.

During the winter months, we hold regular social nights with live entertainment once a month. We also have an annual “Fishy quiz night” which is extremely popular.

We also Let the clubhouse out for various functions including birthday parties, anniversaries, retirement parties, weddings, engagements, christenings, communions and funerals. (Please note we do not allow 18^th and 21^st birthday parties).

We are constantly on the look out for more members (experienced or not) to add to our ongoing membership lists.
